Kayo Sports were launching their new online sports viewing platform and The Super Bowl would be an upcoming highlight. Working with the team from Wonder Communications Kayo wanted a brand activation piece that would raise eyebrows for the new streaming service and let Australia know where they could view sports and the upcoming Super Bowl LIVE!
Create of a replica floating Super Bowl Field large enough to play an actual game on, make uniforms for professional sports players and install functional signage into the activation space…
Several steps went into the production for this activation piece including Installation of Astro Turf, Stencilling & Painting the lines, logos and team names onto the playing field. The timeline was limited and weather was not on our side for this one so on top of being resourceful we needed put in the hard hards and get the field ready for the sunny activation day ahead!
The outcome spoke for itself and delivered newsworthy content not just across Australian print and television media channels but throughout the world! Sydney Harbour even featured during the LIVE broadcast of the Super Bowl with the commentary team talking about the activation for around 60 seconds.
The activation was a huge success for Kayo sports and Sydney in general!
